Rabbi Dr. Weiner comes to Knesset Israel of Beverlywood with much experience and education.  He currently serves as the Senior Rabbi & Director of Spiritual Care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  Rabbi Dr. Weiner holds multiple Rabbinic Ordinations, an MA in Bioethics & Health Policy; an MA in Jewish History; a doctorate in clinical bioethics from Loyola University (Chicago) and is a Board Certified Chaplain.  In addition, Rabbi Dr. Weiner is a member of the Rabbinical Council of California (RCC) and the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA), is a recipient of numerous awards including the Orthodox Union “Rabbinic Leadership Award” and is published in a number of journals, including The Journal of Halacha and Contemporary Society.  Rabbi Weiner has authored two books, “Guide to Observance of Jewish Law in a Hospital” and "Jewish Guide to Practical Medical Decision-Making".  Rabbi Dr. Weiner was Assistant Rabbi of Young Israel of Century City from 2006-2009.  Rabbi Dr. Weiner maintains his current position at Cedars-Sinai while serving as the Rabbi of Knesset Israel.
